We designed a mobile application of next-generation groupware named Autoway to help global executives and employees of HYUNDAI Motor Group perform their work efficiently.

Needs

The user interface of the previous groupware mobile application had unilateral information flow that prevented users from handling their work quickly and efficiently.
We needed UX improvement to provide the business information at the right time and to interact with users quickly and accurately.
We even expected to improve productivity and the ROI of the businesses with better groupware.

Project Goal

The improvement of user experience increased business efficiency that the mobile application provides necessary information on time and responds quickly and accurately.

UX/UI Principle

While reconstructing layouts and interactions considering the user’s situation and environment, we maintained consistency with all design elements within the smartphone and tablet.
In addition, we rechecked all business processes, formed a rapid task scenario, and provided a biometric authentication interface for convenient user access.

Design Concept

Main Colors

We set colors commonly used in the group, Hyundai Motor, and Kia Motors, to establish their unique identity.
Using thin-lined icons and gray tones in detailed design, we reorganized the complex content.
Also, considering the long period of use of the groupware system, it was designed as a trendless Flat & Simple.

Assigning colors in tasks

We helped users to recognize each work by appointing different colors to it.
We brought these colors from Microsoft applications that are familiar to users and applied them to Autoway menus.
