About Client
The National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) is the central bank of the Cambodian government, which plays a similar role to the Bank of Korea.

Needs
Cambodia has been growing at an annual rate of more than 7% over the past decade, but the digital financial system has failed to keep up with the fast-changing trend, requiring advanced financial services.
The Korean government has been working with NBC to build Cambodia’s next-generation financial-based system since 2018. It will support real-time transfers between banks that will generally start in Cambodia in 2019.
It also comes with standard mobile banking services that all banks can use to improve their financial experience.

Project Goal
We proceeded with the UX design of standard mobile banking services and provided convenient digital financial services to Cambodians who lack experience in digital financial transactions.

UX/UI Principle
Because mobile banking applications offer various services to multiple customers, convenient and accurate interfaces matter a lot.
When designing user experience, considering the cultural situation in Cambodia was essential to help customers use the service more easily and quickly.
We wanted to meet recognition, ease of understanding, and convenience at the same time, through simple layout composition, easy-to-understand information volume, and natural navigation.
