Needs
Other IoCare applications focused only on multiple products and gave integrated information. The users of the applications found it hard to manage individual devices that required improvement of user interfaces.
Users purchased consumables for filter replacement on their own, in addition to the ones provided by visiting services. We added notification of when to replace consumables and additional user interfaces related to purchasing.

Project Goal
We linked all of COWAY’s IoT-based products to the new system we designed to check real-time, period-specific indoor air quality and water purifier drinking capacity.
The new mobile application serves all COWAY’s customers, including the management of non-IoT products and the support of selling consumables.
—
UX/UI Principle 01
It provides various contents of products – such as HEART Service schedule, when to replace consumables, and weekly and monthly reports of water volume and indoor air quality.
—
UX/UI Principle 02
We designed a flexible user interface of information that depends on users, such as the type and specifications of the product and the number of registered products.
We increased promotional effects by giving the users who were not yet customers a free trial of COWAY’s IoT services.
—
UX/UI Principle 03
We subdivided services such as product registration and remote-control authorizations while making it easier for users to set up, launch new products, and manage non-IoT products.
