About Client

HANSOT Dosirak is one of top South Korea’s top lunch box franchises and offers cost-effective products to consumers through more than 700 stores all over South Korea.


Needs

HANSOT Dosirak aims to grow into a Starbucks in the lunch box industry through bold challenges such as O2O services.
Their need was clear; to implement a new mobile order channel and to improve the POS system to respond to it.
They wanted to shorten the customers’ time with the new mobile order system, which does not require waiting in line.
They provided features that are unique characteristics such as finding branches, coupons, points, and push notifications when lunchboxes are ready.


Project Goal

Modern, intuitive UX/UI design and easy, convenient features make it easier for customers to order mobile.
The mobile application can efficiently support promotional and marketing operations. It helps the brand gain future-oriented revenue streams by strengthening customer communication and brand awareness.


UX Consulting

We analyzed competitors and conducted 1:1 in-depth interviews with direct management staff to establish tasks reflecting at-site opinions.
Based on this, we evaluated the usability of prototypes several times and proposed the optimal UX/UI design.
We analyzed the references of competitives’ order and payment processes from home and abroad. After that, we designed the processes optimized only for HANSOT lunchboxes.
